I wasn’t too crazy about them because I took them with my old Canon Powershot, but last night I processed a few of them and the black and whites really moved me. Great tips!! I’ve learned a lot just from trial and error with my camera. When I look at my etsy photos from when I first opened shop, I can see a world of difference now! By the way, I’m going to see Need to Breathe with my dad in April!!! Soooo excited!! :) P.S. Yes, lets do the “No” game together!!

I couldn’t be there physically, but watched EVERY session via livestream, and my heart has been wrecked in the best possible way. From the powerful worship to the convicting words that were preached, everything was so saturated in His truth! Thank you for posting what you learned (I’ll be doing that pretty soon, too)!

Sounds like this was an amazing experience! I went to CHIC (Covenant High in Christ) in Knoxville, TN back in 2006 and had such a good time. Hillsong United is one of my favorite bands!
I watched via livestream, and was so challenged by the experience! What an incredible lineup of speakers and worship and how amazing to see what was able to be accomplished through the generosity of those in attendance! God has so much in store for our generation, and all we need to do is be willing to be used by him! 
i am so glad you got to attend! you wrote about what God was teaching there in such a beautiful and concise way. i just reposted this to my FB, so hopefully lots of people get to read it! 
Wow looked like an amazing time…I didn’t know they did things like that in that big of numbers…Willowcreek Church in IL has a summer conference but besides that there is nothing like that here..Perfect way to get motivated for the year (and life)

I went to the Passion Conference last year in Texas and it was AMAZING!! Passion really emphasizes that there is no such thing as being too old or too young to stand up and change the world for the Lord.

Wow. I can’t even imagine! I saw a photo Beth Moore tweeted a few days ago of a huge group of girls and wondered if you were in it…? :) I think the biggest thing that sticks out to me is the fact that I often fear the darkness. We don’t need to because Christ is so much more powerful than that and how are we going to spread light in the darkness if we are afraid! How does this passion thing work? Is it in a different location every year? 
Jennifer-I’m new to your blog and my leapt with joy to hear your passion and enthusiasm for Jesus!! Yes, I believe in this generation! In so many ways I feel like the young are the ones who are really understanding what it means to be disciples of Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him!

Hey Natalie! No, I wasn’t in that photo. I think those were the 1,000 girls that were sponsored by Living Proof Ministries. Passion is actually all over the world, but they have the biggest one in Atlanta every year. Next year there will probably be over 70,000 people! Passion just gets a bunch of speakers and worship leaders to come and bring the word and lead in worship. Most of the time they don’t even put their names in the publicity stuff. They just want you to come because you want to hear from God and worship Him.
I can’t wait for the cd either! It’s going to be awesome!

What a refreshing and challenging time it sounds like. Would have loved to be there. Our church puts on a similiar conference called Resolved that this reminds me of. Those weekends were always so incredible.

Ahhh I so wanted to go. When I worked at McLean Bible Church (right before I had my son Judah) I went to Passion when it was here in the DC area (george mason) and it changed my life forever. I was already a believer/working for a church but the conference stuck a fire in my heart and I went on a missions trip to the garbage slums of Cairo a few months afterwards. We just have to wait a few more years /till Judah is older till we go on another missions trip so we can bring him along.

Thank you for sharing what you got out of Passion 2012. Some of the things that blessed you encouraged me, especially the part about hearing God’s voice. I’m currently in a really comfortable, content spot in life with a wonderful husband and two little girls, a great church family, living a place I love and am familiar with. I’ve been getting anxious the past couple days thinking about the reality of God possibly moving us across the country by this summer to a foreign place where we won’t know a soul. But your passion to go anywhere and do anything for God reminded me of my initial excitement to be sent on a [possible] new adventure with my family. 
My partner and i believes this is the greatest weblog.I enjoy your blog! You will be in your prayers and ideas! This informative article can make myself deeply carressed. 
I was there too and oh my goodness, it was truly a magical few days. I’m so glad you got to go and I love your take-aways!! Since coming back to reality (and snow) in central Illinois, it’s been so different having people (probably not intentionally, they just don’t know better) telling worldly lies every day rather than be in that atmosphere of uplifting truth we had at Passion. I had a similar moment today while driving. The sunbeams were bursting through gray and rain-heavy clouds, it was glorious. God is causing the sun to shine and the light was piercing through the darkness. It was phenomenal. I was in awe even as I was traveling at high speeds.
