I have seen this in my life time and time again. Psalm 52:9 seems to be a reoccurring theme in my heart these days. Today I cannot help but…  You’re never really ready. Those words resonated in my heart like a loud voice in a cavern. The other night I was organizing my office while listening to some of Hillsong Conference on my iphone. Honestly, what could be a better compliment to clearing clutter than worship (and maybe eating a little tomato bisque)?… 
The is beautiful Jen. Such a good reminder for me. I always feel uplifted after reading you blog. Keep it up -you really are doing an amazing thing. P.S. Did you ever get a new missions trip planned or what’s happening on that front? 
Beautifully written Jennifer. Like you I come across being confident, but I also struggled with insecurities and the fear of failure. Love these verses you picked out. I’m so thankful for a God who uses me despite my imperfections!

Haha. Nope. I’m not pregnant! :) I will gladly share than info when the time comes! 
This is such a good reminder that we don’t have to “have it all together.” God chooses to use us in our weaknesses so we have to abide all the more in Him. That is so humbling and freeing at the same time.

It did encourage! I know I thought that many times, that I’m not ready for something only to have God show me otherwise. He knows me far better than I know myself and strengthens me when I think I’m at my weakest. Emily at Amazing Grapes

This really encourages me. I often keep back from making life changing decisions because I “don’t feel ready” to make them. Now I know it’s never about being ready. ready or not, here it comes.

Thank you for this sweet note. I’m 18 and heading off to India in a week and a half to teach MKs for six months, and the thought that keeps overwhelming me is, “I’m not ready for this!” I’ve waited and prayed for this day for so long, but now that it’s here I feel so unprepared. Thanks for the reminder that His strength is enough.  She was dancing in the middle of a road in Deli. While in India I saw many faces, many children, but she had my heart the moment I laid eyes on her. Her body contorted in unnatural ways as she danced her way down the jagged row of vehicles. She was a beautiful face clothed… 
This is BEAUTIFUL. The picture is beautiful, your post is beautiful and even the lyrics right there. I just finished listening to Albertine :) Mmmm I found myself, after studying social justice and being surrounded by academia, being so unsure what to do about poverty. Like you mentioned, she probably never got the money and those who are above her probably took it, but you still gave. I always struggled with that. 
This is an absolutely gorgeous photo. She’s so young, but her eyes give the impression that she’s been through a lot in life already. I hope she ends up leading a good life… (PS- Brooke Fraser’s music is amazing.)

Oh how I love that song. We are responsible. Something I need to remind myself of every day. I really want to make sure I make a difference in this world, or at least in the life of a few children. May God bless you for what you are doing.  I decided to revisit my photos of Ethiopia. I wasn’t too crazy about them because I took them with my old Canon Powershot, but last night I processed a few of them and the black and whites really moved me. I can’t adequately describe these photos, but they seem to speak for themselves pretty well…. 
I’m totally loving your new journey of capturing stories through your pictures. Can’t wait to see many more!

I can totally relate to this Jennifer! It’s been a little while but I wanted to say ‘hi’ and that your photography is stunning as ever. You said, “He must be the motivation and the orchestrater”-absolutely, or as in my case, I go no where really fast-despite my best intentions! I’m so thankful that he leads with his infinite wisdom so much better than I ever could fathom. The waiting on him can be so excruciating but when it is finally the ‘right time’ and the right doors open, it is an unfathomable blessing.
