My Kitchen Adventures | French Macarons

I’m not sure what has gotten into me, but I’ve become more adventurous in the kitchen lately. My husband is a very meat-and-potatoes kind of guy, but if I’m going to actually cook I like to have a little creative fun in the process. My favorite thing to do is make up everything as I…

Holly - March 22, 2013 - 6:04 am

I love macaroons…I might try this recipe! :)
I love to experiment and make up as I go in the kitchen too, though following a recipe is my favourite.

I tried making macarons for a Valentine’s Day part this year! They were so yummy but not quite as lovely to the eye :) I definitely want to try to make them again!

Thanksgiving is gone, Christmas is coming…

Is it just me, or is this year flying by super quickly? I can’t believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone. This was my second Thanksgiving with Jonathan’s family. He works a lot during the Holidays, so I can either be with him or my family. He wins. Still, I normally go see them for…

lacey - November 26, 2011 - 8:07 pm

your house looks so comfy, cozy! i made these accordion fold ornaments last year, not from this tutorial but they basically look the same, i didn't do hearts in the center i just did vintage buttons and i also hot glued a loop of twine at the top to hang it from the branches! i also made all different sizes, they turned out really cute and were super easy :)

I love being married, and I love Eric's family! But it was hard for me at first to accept the fact that we couldn't do everything with my family. Once I changed my opinion about Eric's family not being his own… but my new family things got so much easier! In fact… I'm about to go meet my in laws for dinner while Eric's in class and I'm really looking forward to it :)
LOVE your Christmas decor! I really can't believe how fast time is flying by this year!

I may be jobless at the moment, but I refuse to be lazy.  I really can’t stand it. Turning on the TV during the day might as well be torture for me. (I know, I’m really an odd ball!) Don’t get me wrong, I like some shows but I don’t like wasting the day away….
