Driftwood & Lace | Styled Session

Inspiration often comes in very unexpected places. About a month ago I visited my local thrift store and stubbled upon an old 80′s wedding dress. It wasn’t your quintessential gown from the that era. It was lace with sleeves, but it had something the others lacked – potential. I wasn’t sure what in the world I was going to use it for, but I bought it anyway. Then about a week ago came the vision for it. Ashley had a very skeptical look as she slid it on, but I just knew it was going to work. We snipped here and trimmed there until it was perfect. Next came the location…and everything just fell into place…

These came out SO pretty! And I love that the dress was from the 80s. You really can’t tell. That closeup shot of her back and profile is my favorite.
